Trigger = an event or circumstance that is the cause of a particular action, process, or situation.
What causes you to react? Is it a tragic event, someone, something or are you in a touchy place? Triggers are real! Let that sink in for a moment! We have to be honest with ourselves that there are some things that always causes us to react! Sometimes we convinced ourselves that we have moved on past a event that has caused us pain. In reality we have not! Find your triggers and find a way to avoid them. Once you find out what triggers you, you can now work on how to stay away from them. Make a list of ways to help you stay calm and keep your inner peace. "Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things that I can, and the wisdom to know the difference"! Remember "triggers are only triggers if you react to them"!
